Formed in 1982 with some of the Central California's best high school musicians, the Kyber Rifles quickly made their mark on a burgeoning California ska/mod scene. Along with bands like The Untouchables, Fishbone, and The Uptones, the Kyber Rifles brought the sound of British 2-Tone ska to California.

This 2-Tone Ska time capsule recorded in 1984 contains the best of California Ska, from it's least known band. Heavily influenced by The English Beat, the Kyber Rifles paved the way for ska in the central valley, with members of the band going on to form Let's Go Bowling.
